Why a ledger, not a spreadsheet with buttons
Most inventory tools store a single quantity per product and overwrite it. When the number drifts, nobody can say why. EzInventory never overwrites: stock on hand is derived from the full history of movements, so every discrepancy has a traceable cause.

Double-entry movements mean stock can't appear or vanish silently. Ask "why is bin A-04 short two units?" and get an answer, with dates and references.
FIFO costing built in
Receipts open cost layers; shipments consume them oldest-first. Inventory value and cost of goods come from the same ledger as your quantities.
