One design decision drives the whole product: stock is never a number someone typed, it's the sum of everything that happened. These are the things that decision makes possible.
Append-only audit trail
Receipts, shipments, transfers, adjustments, counts and scrap are all double-entry movements. History is never edited or deleted — corrections are new entries, so the past stays provable.
FIFO cost layers
Every receipt opens a cost layer at its unit cost; outbound stock consumes layers oldest-first. Inventory value, cost of goods and loss reports come straight from the ledger — no month-end reconstruction.
Warehouses, zones and bins
Nest locations as deep as your building does. Transfers keep cost and age with the stock, so a pallet moved across town is still the same pallet on the books.
Lots, expiry and serials
Lot-tracked products carry lot numbers and expiry dates through every movement; serial-tracked products account for each unit individually, with a full custody trail per serial.
Your inventory, readable by agents
A built-in MCP server lets AI assistants query stock, movements and valuation — read-only on Free, read + write on paid plans. Ask an agent "what's short in Toronto?" and it can answer from the ledger.
GraphQL and REST
Query the catalog, stock and full movement history over GraphQL; post movements over REST with idempotency keys, so integrations can retry safely without double-counting.
On the floor, not at the desk
A companion mobile app for receiving, counting and moving stock where it actually happens — same ledger, same rules, smaller screen.
AI-assisted migration
Bring everything from Sortly, Zoho Inventory, inFlow or any CSV/Excel export. The importer maps your columns, previews the result, and posts opening stock through the same ledger as everything else.
