Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 1, 2026. EzInventory is operated by Cymansys Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy describes what we collect when you use ezinventory.cloud and the EzInventory application, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Account data — your name, email address and login credentials, managed through our identity service.
- Inventory data — the products, locations, stock movements and files you or your team put into the service. This data belongs to your business.
- Billing data — subscription and payment records. Card details go directly to our payment processor (Stripe); we never store card numbers.
- Usage data — logs and telemetry (requests, errors, performance) used to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
- To provide the service: storing your inventory ledger, computing stock and reports.
- To bill you for your subscription.
- To operate the AI-assisted import: when you upload a file, its column headers and up to five sample rows are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to propose a column mapping. Nothing else from the file leaves our systems, and your data is not used to train their models.
- To respond when you contact us.
- We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Where it lives
The service is hosted on Microsoft Azure in Canada (Canada Central region). Backups are retained as part of normal database operation. Our subprocessors are Microsoft (hosting), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI import mapping) and, only if you accept analytics below, Google (Google Analytics, servers in the United States).
Cookies and analytics
The site and the app work without any advertising or tracking cookies. Signing in sets the session cookies needed to keep you signed in, and the site remembers your language choice in your browser; neither leaves your device.
With your permission we use Google Analytics 4 to learn which pages and features help visitors: pages viewed, sign-ups and plan checkouts, with your IP address truncated and Google Signals and ad personalisation switched off. Analytics is off until you choose "Accept" in the banner; until then Google receives only anonymous, cookieless page counts. You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookies" link in the footer of every page. We never use analytics data for advertising and never sell it.
Your controls
- You can export your inventory data at any time through the API.
- You can ask us to delete your account and its data by emailing ezinventory@cymansys-inc.com; we remove it from production systems within 30 days, as described in our terms.
